Huge 4×4 vehicles will be driving into Locks Heath for a charity event on August 17.
The Wessex Hillrunners Club will have eight vehicles on show, alongside the coast guard and fire service as part of an event to raise awareness of the club’s work and raise cash for Marie Curie Cancer.
Children can take part in a colouring competition and other activities and great prizes will be on offer in a raffle at the Locks Heath Shopping Village.
Neil Andrews from the club said it would show people the voluntary work of the club members who help to clear lanes and provide support during emergencies and added: “It’s to show that 4x4s are not hooligans.”
The event is from 9am to 3pm.
