Some popular chart-toppers of the 60s will be performed once again in Fareham this year.

The 60s Sensation event will include The Marmalade, Herman’s Hermits, Chris Farlowe and Steve Ellis’ Love Affair.

Alan Mosca from Freddie and The Dreamers will compere the evening at Ferneham Hall and no doubt get the audience singing and moving in their seats.

This year’s brand new production for 2013 is aimed at making it the most dynamic 60s show touring the UK.

From 1964 Herman’s Hermits have notched up more than 23 top 20 singles, 10 hit albums, three major movies and sold 75 million records worldwide.

Steve Ellis’ Love Affair, which formed in 1967, stormed into the charts with Everlasting Love. At the time Steve was only 17 years old, but with his distinctive powerful voice he and the band tallied up further hits.

The line up will include nostalgia and hits such as The Marmalade’s Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, Falling Apart At The Seams, Hermans Hermits’ I’m Into Something Good and No Milk Today and Love Affair’s Everlasting Love and Rainbow Valley by Steve Ellis and not forgetting Chris Farlowe’s Out Of Time, and Handbags and Gladrags.

With more 40 years – 32 of which were spent touring with Freddie and The Dreamers – Alan is expected to leave the audience spellbound and in stitches telling his unique stories about touring the world in the 1960s up until the present day.

The event is at Ferneham Hall on Friday October 18 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the box office on 01329 231942.
